Individual Community Living Support (ICLS)

(ICLS) Service

A bundled service that provides assistance for older adults (age 65 and older enrolled in the Alternative Care [AC] program or Elderly Waiver [EW]) who need reminders, cues, intermittent or moderate supervision, or physical assistance to remain in their own homes.

Covered Services:
ICLS includes six service components: active cognitive support; adaptive support service; support with activities of daily living (ADLs); household management assistance; health, safety, and wellness; and community living engagement.

Non-Covered Services:
ICLS does not cover services if fewer than two components are provided, duplicate authorized state plan or EW services, specialized/adapted remote support equipment, or transportation mileage (see the transportation section for alternatives).
